I am an Assistant Professor of International Relations at University of Groningen. Previously, I was a Marie Skłodowska Curie Global Fellow at University of Warwick and University of Denver. I work on international norms, military operations, populism, and visual politics.

I have published articles on the Journal of Peace Research, the European Journal of Political Research, West European Politics, and Party Politics amongst others

I also like dogs, basketball, MMA, hiking, and writing short stories
